Employees become eligible for most benefits after a 30 day waiting period. Full benefits are offered to full-time employees (those who work 35 hours or more a week). In addition, employees are eligible for numerous fringe benefits.
Bereavement Leave – One to five days paid time off for each familial death.
Blood and Urine Analysis – Free annual testing (e.g., cholesterol, glucose, triglycerides, etc.) for those working more than 20 hours per week.
Dental – Dental coverage is offered through Delta Dental of PA. You can purchase dental insurance for yourself alone or for yourself and your dependents.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP) – Three sessions annually with a professional counselor through Cigna for you and/or your dependents for such problems as stress, marital discord, etc. This benefit also offers a Work/Life Support Program on topics such as parenting, senior care, and free consultations on legal services, identity theft and financial services.
401(k) Plan – 50% company match on the first 6% of employee contributions to the plan, starting 90 days after date of hire, with a 3-year vesting schedule.
Holidays – 10 days per year.
Laboratory Analysis Discount – 50% off regular cost of analyses performed at Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories (e.g., water, soil, asbestos, etc.)
Life Insurance and AD&D – Includes group life insurance (3 times your base annual salary), accident, disability and worker’s compensation insurance.
Medical/Prescription Coverage – Choice of various medical plans for employees and dependents. All plans include prescription coverage through in-network pharmacies for up to a 30-day supply or via mail order for up to a 90-day supply. Employee contribution towards coverage for medical/prescription plan varies by plan.
Pre-tax Spending Accounts – Ability to contribute pre-tax funds via payroll deduction for reimbursement of dependent day care or unreimbursed medical expenses.
Relocation – Reimbursement packages for relocating employees are available including expenses for house-hunting visits. Relocation specialists help those who desire assistance during the moving process. The extent of reimbursement is decided on a case-by-case basis.
Disability – If you are unable to work due to a non-work related injury or illness, you may be eligible for Short Term disability. There is a 7-day waiting period and then the plan would pay 70% of your covered salary for up to 12 weeks, or as long as you continue to meet the plan’s definition of disability. Long-term disability benefits are paid at 60% of your covered salary after a 12 week waiting period.
Paid Time Off (PTO) – You begin accruing PTO immediately during the first calendar year of employment. You will acrue 10 hours of PTO for each month worked. Thereafter, the accrual is based on the number of years of service up to a maximum of 25 days of PTO per year.
PTO Purchase – Option to purchase additional PTO during annual open enrollment period.
Supplemental Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance – You may purchase additional coverage, up to $300,000, for yourself only or yourself and your family.
Term Life Insurance – You may purchase additional life insurance for yourself, your spouse and your dependent children. Prices vary based on age and amount of insurance selected.
Tuition Reimbursement – With advance approval (after a 6 month waiting period), 100% tuition reimbursement for courses or approved degree program related to your work.
Vision Plan – Plan provides you and your family assistance in paying for regular eye exams, glasses and contact lenses. You can choose to receive services from in-network or out-of-network providers. Employee contribution towards coverage varies based on number of people you elect to cover.
Child Day Care – On-site child care offered at discounted rates at our Lancaster, PA site. Children from six weeks through kindergarten can be enrolled for two to five days per week. Before and after school care, school snow days and summer day camp available for children up to 12 years of age.
Adult Day Care – On-site adult care offered at our Lancaster, PA, site for family members who need assistance during the day. This program is an alternative to residential care.
Fitness Center – A professionally staffed community fitness center is located minutes from the Lancaster, PA site.
